Israel 2013 - Day 6

So today was the 1st of 2 days of Retreat with Dr. Charles and Hillary Price at Ma'agdan Kibbutz. This kibbutz is on the south shore of the Sea of Galilee. For pictures of both Charles and Hillary speaking see my Instagram page ... jacobtwotwocan

Hillary spoke about going from bitterness (Luke 24:18) to burning for the Lord (Luke 24:32). She shared a wonderful quote from Hessian "Christianity is not about getting people into Heaven but about getting God into people." 

Charles spoke about the 3rd Temple envisioned by Ezekiel in chapter 43 primarily. He shared all the main aspects of that vision in 43:1-7a are fulfilled in the New Covenant through Christ in the life of the believer. Amazing, powerful stuff.

Both talks were followed by an hour of silent, guided reflection... which after the cacophony of Jerusalem and the "in the bus, out of the bus" hustling of touring the sites was a welcome respite indeed (Mark 6:31).
